Principal
Dr. Megenney began his local career in education at the college level teaching history courses at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton beginning in the fall of 2001. He made the transition to the K-12 system in 2004-5 as a substitute teacher in EUSD. He taught Spanish at Weston Ranch High School in Manteca Unified between 2005-6, and was subsequently hired as a Spanish teacher at Escalon High School in 2006-7 where he remained until 2018-19. Between 2016-2019 he served a dual role teaching Spanish at EHS and serving as principal of Vista High School, Escalon's continuation school. Beginning in 2019-20 he was assigned the role of Collegeville and Farmington Elementary principal. Dr. Megenney holds a BA in History from UC Santa Cruz (1993), an MA in History from UC Riverside (1995), an MA in Educational Leadership from California State University Stanislaus (2016) and a doctorate in Educational Leadership also from Stan State (2020). He enjoys traveling overseas whenever the opportunity arises and is quite fond of classic science fiction shows like "Star Trek" and "Doctor Who."
El Dr. Megenney comenzó su carrera local en educación a nivel universitario enseñando cursos de historia en San Joaquin Delta College en Stockton a partir del otoño de 2001.
